Oh, I am aware of that, but ninety percent of the posters on this thread would dismiss it as "sour grapes". People are obstinate when it comes to protecting their heroes.

dman, you make a valid point, especially regarding the weight gain. But I would still say that the unnatural trajectory was symptomatic of the game of baseball. That period was one that a lot of people wanted to attribute to a juiced ball. Now we know otherwise.
